It was when mandatory COVID-19 quarantines and all the challenges brought with it, while also in the middle of an extensive home remodel, that Lori found herself painting and refurbishing multiple pieces of her own furniture in an effort to match her new home decor.

While doing so, friends and family took notice of her talents and skills and soon began requesting her services for their own home furnishings and art decor as the nation remained in lock down and people searched for a bright light in the unknown. Having been blessed with a large space in which to hone her craft, Lori started her own furniture renovation business in an in-home studio.

While learning all the latest skills and trends regarding furniture painting and refinishing, Lori came across the world of Acrylic Fluid Art and her love for all things paint took an exciting jump. After purchasing a few supplies (ok, maybe more than a few) she began what has now become her second, and slowly growing into her first, love in the world of art. Still growing in her crafts everyday, Lori is enjoying the opportunity of dividing her time between furniture painting and a wide range of fluid art, revealing her unique personality in the forms of art she most loves.
